Types of Visas
Airport Transit Visa for Schengen Countries
An airport transit visa is applicable for the people who are just transiting the Schengen territory
and who will not leave the transit area of the airport.
Schengen Visa for Employment – Residence Permit
Anyone that wants to get gainful employment in the Schengen countries must get a residence
permit in the form of a visa. A work permit will be included in the visa where needed.
Citizens of the USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland,
as well as EU citizens may apply for their residence permit after entering the Schengen territory without a visa
Group Schengen Visa
A Schengen visa is normally issued individually. However, it is possible to get a group visa for a group of between 5 and 50 people
if the members of the group enter the Schengen territory, stay there and leave the territory as a group.
A group visa is a transit visa or a visa limited to 30 days maximum. Group must have been formed prior to issuance of the visa.
A Group visa may be affixed to a group passport issued to a group of travelers.
The person in charge of the group must have an individual passport and, where necessary, an individual visa.
Limited Territorial Validity Visa – Schengen Visa
Normally a Schengen visa is valid for travel to all Schengen countries. However, in some special cases, Schengen visa may be issued with limited territorial validity.
Such persons are authorized to transit or travel only to authorized countries and leave only from authorized countries.
Student Visa – Schengen Countries
Citizens of the USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, as well as EU citizens may apply for their residence permit
after entering the Schengen territory without a visa.
Citizens of other countries must apply and get a residence permit before entering the Schengen territories.
This option is also available to the citizens of the countries who could otherwise enter without a visa first.
